Our Neighborhood is Where Pride Grows.

What is a 501(c)(3) organization?

We’re Glad you asked…(we will defer to the far greater wisdom of Wikipedia here)
A
501(c)(3)  is a Not-For-Profit organization, organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, testing for public safety, literary, or educational purposes, or to foster national or international amateur sports competition, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals.  The term 501(c)(3) organization is derived from the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3) and the tax-deductible contribution guidelines of Section 170.  These exemptions apply to corporations, and any community chest, fund, or foundation, classified as such.  Pretty creative huh?

Well, the creative part comes with what we do under that Non– Profit banner really.

Until we can  address the prospect of a Digital Donation Feature on our site we have (by request) supplied  an address of a more traditional nature in order to make it as easy as possible to support your local Neighborhood Association!!
