We are a 501(c)(3) organization and operate as a Neighborhood Board all from within the Founders Grove Neighborhood in Bloomington, IL.  We are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the historic character of the Founders’ Grove neighborhood in Bloomington.    (Did we mention it can be used as a tax deduction?!)

We have several Projects that we are focusing on, some working with the city and some within the Neighborhood Association itself.  They can range from zoning, housing, code enforcement, Neighborhood Watch and/or speed and safety issues in and around the neighborhood. 
(not to mention Bake Sales, Happy Hours, Ivy League Gardening Club, Old House Society events, July 4th Parade, you feelin’ it yet?)

New online chat feature for FGNA members!

We would like to thank all those who took part in our recent online discussions on the Refuse Policy in Bloomington. It was of great value and insight to many to be able to hear (read) the varying opinions on the issues surrounding the policy.  We have had numerous requests of late for a means to conduct similar online discussions going forward. 

In response, we have set up a free Windows Live™ account for FGNA members to be able to conduct and create conversations on topics of importance relating to the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
