City Tree Trimming

Some residents have inquired about the trimming of low hanging branches on trees that are between the street and city sidewalk, and thus on city property. We received this response from David Lamb, the Assistant Superintendent of Parks: “We were in the area that includes Founders Grove for circuit trimming in 2017 we will be back to do the whole section in 2022. Our goal is to hit every tree in town at least once every 5 years. We certainly can address any issues or specific trees if we knew which block or addresses were of concern. Please feel free to share the with Council Member Emig as you see fit."

Stay well,
