Music Guild

Theme: "Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Opinions!" Who is in, but should not be, who's not in that should, and who is deserving and in just the right spot of being included?

Friday, October 14th, 6 p.m.
Scavenger Hunt followed by Fall Social.

Adult scavenger hunt will accompany our socializing this month! Wear walking shoes to travel the neighborhood in search of items. More details to come. Bring a dish to share, BYOB, cash for 50/50.

Fall Festival & Crockpot / Chili Cook-off.

Host: AB Hatchery & Garden Center.
916 E Grove St.
Prepare your best chili or crockpot recipe. We will taste and vote! For the children there will be pumpkin painting, s'mores, and other activities. BYO beverage.
Some items at AB will be offered at a discount.

All ages event.

Centennial Christian Church (CCC)

CCC is hiring a part-time custodian. If you like flexible hours and can work up to seventeen hours per week please contact Bill Wetzel at finance@centennialcc.org or 309-828-2185. Currently, the pay is $13 per hour, but will change in January, 2023. 

CCC is sponsoring an Adopt a Family program from September 15 thru October 15.  Please consider making a financial donation to this worthwhile cause.  All proceeds will go to Tinervin Family Farms by November 1st.  They helped 66 families in 2021.  Please make checks payable to Centennial Christian Church with “Tinervin Family Farms” in the memo line and send to Centennial Christian Church, 1219 East Grove Street, Bloomington, IL, 61701.

The FGNA Facebook page is intended to be a family-friendly community where the FGNA Board and neighbors can interact about the Founders’ Grove neighborhood & the Bloomington-Normal community.

It’s important to note that postings to the FGNA page are not representative of the opinions of the FGNA Board, nor do we confirm their accuracy.

As part of our commitment to you, we’ll do our best to ensure the postings on our page are in line with FGNA’s family-friendly intentions. The FGNA board requests that Facebook group members treat each other with mutual respect. FGNA expects that users will not post content that falls into the following categories and reserves the right to remove postings and/or ban users who are:

 

- Abusive, attacking, defamatory, or obscene
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- In violation of any law or regulation
- Excessively repetitive
- Otherwise offensive
