Welcome friends & neighbors!

Prez on the Edge

Good afternoon, neighbors!

I wanted to post an update regarding our June events now that Illinois has moved into Phase 3 of the reopen Illinois plan.

Our June member meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 6th, same time, place, and speaker.

The annual garage sales are rescheduled for the weekend of August 7th & 8th.

We are sad to have to cancel the Summer Solstice picnic & bags tournament this year, but we are unable to hold these two events safely and within our current state guidelines.

That being said, and with our host’s approval, we do feel we can have the June Happy Hour safely following all of the governor’s guidelines.  Michelle King will be hosting the June happy hour at 1219 E. Jackson.

Here is what you need to know if you choose to attend:
- the happy hour will be limited to a maximum number of 10 guests.  The first 10 there get to stay.
- because guests come and go frequently you may text me at 309.706.4907 to see if there is an open spot
- please bring your own chair, drink & snack (sharing is not caring at this time!)
- happy hour will be outside only where we can practice social distancing

Don’t forget to participate in our "Unique Items Challenge" on Facebook as you enjoy the beautiful weather wandering the neighborhood this weekend!

Stay well,
Amanda
